Carmichael Running Club is open to all children in 3rd through 8th grade regardless of ability. Although some runners are competitive, this is not a competive year round club. The club is designed to educate children on the sport of running and to provide instruction on proper form and running techniques so the participant can successfully complete a 5K race feeling good and strong. Returning and new runners are encouraged to set personal goals for achievement. Goals vary from runner to runner. Set goals, follow dreams and work hard to put yourself in the best possible position to achieve them. For Ryan (pictured) it was running in college for a Divsion I school.
